The health authorities in Wuhan, China, were the first to identify the disease in a group of patients with pneumonia of undetermined origin, COVID-19 (for its acronym in English Coronavirus Disease 2019), which is caused by the SARS-CoV virus -two. The rapid spread of the disease caused the World Health Organization to declare it on March 11, 2020 as a pandemic, based on the presence that the virus already has in various countries and the impact it is generating.
Salles, Sainz - Grant Thornton, S.C. is aware and very alert of the situation in the current world. Even when there is no health crisis statement issued by the Federal Government, through the Ministry of Health, or confirmed cases in any of our offices, the Board of Directors, together with the Crisis Situations Management Board, determined to implement measures that help safeguard the safety and health of all its employees and that of their families.
As a Firm our message is consistent, we must remain calm, but also be prepared in these uncertain times, for us the well-being of our people is a priority, so from March 18, 2020 all collaborators nationwide must continue with their work from home. This without affecting our professionalism and under an approach of effective communication both internally and externally.
