Profile

Certified Public Accountant, graduated from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO), and holds a Master’s degree in Taxation from the University of Guadalajara. He is certified by the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants (IMCP).

He has extensive experience in financial and tax auditing since 1985, in both private and public sectors, as well as in taxation since 1992 and in Social Security matters since 2000.

He has specialized in several areas, including:

• Audit of private companies (manufacturing, services, commercial, and tourism sectors)
• Government auditing (federal, state, and municipal levels; certified in the government sector by the IMCP)
• Accounting, payroll, and tax outsourcing services, as well as corporate business advisory (certified in Corporate Governance by the Mexican Institute of Best Corporate Practices)

 
Professional Affiliations

• Member of the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants (IMCP) and the College of Public Accountants of Guadalajara, Jalisco, where he served as President of the Board of Directors in 2006.
• He has been a member of the Tax Authorities Liaison Committee and the Professional Research Committee, responsible for the analysis of auditing standards and financial reporting standards.
