Salles Sainz Grant Thornton proudly marks 20 consecutive years of being recognized as a Socially Responsible Company (ESR®), an achievement that reflects the integration of ethical, social, and environmental practices into its operations and organizational culture.
The distinction is granted by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (Cemefi) and the Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility (AliaRSE) to organizations that demonstrate a sustained commitment to their employees, communities, and stakeholders. In 2026, a total of 1,093 large companies received this recognition, collectively representing nearly 15% of Mexico’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
“Maintaining this distinction for twenty years is not merely an annual certification process; it is the reflection of a core conviction: the Firm’s growth is inseparable from the well-being of our people and the communities in which we operate.”
Mauricio Brizuela, CEO, Salles Sainz Grant Thornton
More than an award, the ESR® Distinction entails an ongoing evaluation of key areas such as business ethics, employee well-being, community engagement, and environmental stewardship—pillars that have guided the Firm’s evolution over the past two decades.
The Firm’s commitment to people and the development of high-quality workplaces is also reflected in other recent achievements. This year, Salles Sainz Grant Thornton was ranked 7th among the 2026 "Super Empresas" in its category, marking 18 consecutive years within the ranking. In addition, the Firm continues to maintain its ISO 9001:2015-certified Quality Management System.
Twenty years after receiving its first ESR® Distinction, Salles Sainz Grant Thornton reaffirms its commitment to strengthening its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices, firmly believing that business growth and value creation for communities must advance hand in hand.
A Commitment That Endures
Two decades after earning its first ESR® Distinction, Salles Sainz Grant Thornton reaffirms that social responsibility is not a complement to its business activities, but rather an integral part of its identity and strategy. The Firm renews its commitment to continuously implementing policies and practices that foster the growth and well-being of its people, clients, and the communities where it operates, remaining true to its global philosophy: “Go Beyond.”
